Tesla is asking for the return of 2.2 million sold EVs, this is the reason

Kathmandu. Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has requested the recall of more than 2.2 million vehicles that have been sold. The company has requested a recall of the vehicle from the American customer after the size of the letters on the instrument panel showing the brake, park and antilock brake system (ABS) warning lights of the vehicle is small.

The recalled vehicles include the Model S (2012-2023), Model X (2016-2023), Model 3 (2017-2023), Model Y (2019-2024) and the recently released Cyber Truck.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of America conducted an investigation after complaints started coming in. The research has concluded that these models of vehicles do not meet the vehicle safety standards.

After this, Tesla requested the customer to bring the vehicle to the service center. In addition, the company has also said that the font size of the vehicle's warning lights will be increased through this problem software.

Tesla mentions that there have been three warranty claims despite no deaths, injuries or accidents due to this problem.

Just a few months ago, Tesla asked for more than two million cars to be recalled to solve the problem with the autopilot system.
