The verified Facebook page of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, which has been inactive for about 3 years, has been reactivated.

The Facebook page of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, which has been inactive since April 2020, has been reactivated.

The page has been inactive since sharing the media briefing by the Ministry of Health regarding the corona epidemic on April 9, 2020.

The Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Office said that the Facebook page of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Office, which was closed for the past two years due to technical reasons, has been reactivated.

The government believes that the relationship between the people and the government will be strengthened through this Facebook page, as social media plays an important role in ensuring easy access of the people to public services.

From the page, there will be regular transmission of various activities and information materials of the Government of Nepal including the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.

The Prime Minister’s Office has also prepared a draft of guidelines for all the offices under the government of Nepal to use social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram. The directive will come into effect once it is passed by the Cabinet meeting.
