The monthly work progress review of Nepal Police for the month of April has been completed virtually

In the presence of Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri, the monthly progress review program of Nepal Police for the month of April was virtually concluded at the Police Headquarters on Sunday. The program reviewed the Nepal Police Action Plan-2077 BS and the performance agreement.

On the occasion, Inspector General of Police Thapa, in a virtual address from the Police Headquarters, directed to control the black market of PPE, oxygen cylinders, masks, oximeters and other essential items in the difficult situation caused by COVID-19. He stressed on the need to work in coordination with the local level and stakeholders.

Inspector General of Police Thapa said that the state police chiefs should pay special attention to create a conducive environment for the police personnel to perform their roles professionally.

He mentioned that special care should be taken for the treatment of infected employees, health supplies and vaccine management as well as prevention and control of COVID-19 infection.

Inspector General of Police Thapa said that the organization should work in accordance with the policies and directives of the organization within the perimeter of the prevailing laws and regulations for maintaining peace and security in the changing situation, enforcing the ban more strictly, crime investigation and control.

He mentioned that the Police Headquarters is always ready to provide necessary assistance to each state police office.

In the program, the Chiefs of the six Provincial Police Offices and the representatives of the Provincial Police Office No. 1 made a presentation on the work done by their respective offices in the month of April.

The presentation covered the implementation of prohibitions, prevention and control of cowardice, effective management and improvement of peace and security, development of effective crime investigation and technological investigation system, effectiveness of coordination and cooperation with security agencies and other agencies and analyzed the current situation.

The program was attended by Additional Inspector Generals of Police, Deputy Inspector Generals of Police, Chiefs of 6 Provincial Police Offices and a virtual presence of representatives of Provincial Police Office No. 1.
