For some, romantic beaches might be all about privacy, finding that secluded cove just for the two of you, or coming across a hidden bay whilst out on a walk; for others romantic beaches might be more about miles of wide, empty sand with plenty of activities to keep you occupied – from volleyball and beach cricket to kite surfing and windsurfing. We’ve all got an image of ‘that perfect beach’ in our minds.

So when it comes to finding the most romantic beaches in the world, where do you start? We’ve put together some of our top favorite romantic beach getaways to help you decide.
