To develop Nepal as the world's IT hub, the government announced the Decade of Information Technology

Kathmandu. The government has declared the next decade as the decade of information technology. President Ramchandra Paudel announced this while presenting the government's policy and program for the next financial year at the joint meeting of the federal parliament on Tuesday.

According to the government's policy and program, the next decade will be promoted as the information technology decade to achieve socio-economic transformation and prosperity by taking information technology as the basis of digital transformation.

“Nepal will be developed as a global information technology hub by encouraging the development of the information technology industry as a major sector of employment and service export,” said President Paudel while presenting the policy and program.
