Twitter brings algorithm bias to find Bug Bunty contest, winner wins 3,500

Twitter has unveiled a Bug Bunty contest to find out the algorithm bias. Twitter will reward you for finding bias not yet found in image cropping algorithms. Since April, Twitter has been working to make the image cropping algorithm even more powerful.

Twitter has been using this algorithm since 2018. This algorithm looks at the fun aspects of image previews. This algorithm was criticized by people for preferring only white letters. Twitter has released its code to address similar issues.

This is the company’s first algorithm Bias Bug Bunty contest. Twitter has announced a 3,500 prize for the winner. The company has said that it has brought such competition as it cannot solve such problem alone. The winner of the competition will be announced on August 8 at the Deaf Con AI Village Workshop hosted by Twitter.
