Two arrested for withdrawing Rs 3.4 million from expired ATM cards

Police have arrested two persons in Kathmandu today for withdrawing Rs 34.35 lakh using an expired ATM card.

Among the arrested are Jagat Bahadur Gurung of Solukhumbu and Savitri Gurung of Parsa.

According to the police, they withdrew Rs. 34.35 lakh from Siddhartha Bank’s ATMs in Chabahil, Kalapul and Hattisar Bhatbhateni areas using expired debit cards.

Police have recovered LLOYDS VISS Debit Card and Rs 2.1 million from them. Police is conducting further investigation in this regard.
