Vivo is, at present, actively engaged in the production of its flagship, foldable, and budget phones, and has made notable enhancements in their development. With this, there are rumors circulating in the market about the company working on the X100 series, with the first model being Vivo X100. The rumor started from a leak on Weibo by Digital Chat Station, which is a trustworthy tip provider in the tech industry. As per the buzz in the tech market, the upcoming series will include three models: the X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro+. The same tip provider; Digital Chat Station gave off the chipset-related specs of all these three handsets where the initial two, X100 and X100 Pro,  will have MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 SoC – a huge upgrade from its predecessor which has Dimensity 9200 SoC and the last one will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. If this holds true, the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro will be the first smartphones to showcase the Dimensity 9300 SoC.

Camera Specs of Vivo X100

Vivo emphasizes mainly design and camera modules. Therefore, after the recent DCS Weibo post about the Vivo X100’s camera, the handset has generated considerable noise in the market. According to the leak, the Vivo X100 is said to feature a primary camera module from the Sony IMX9 series, although the specific model is not yet known.

This camera module is an upgraded version of the IMX866 and has a 1/14x-inch sensor. Additionally, the phone might sport a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B telephoto lens.

Vivo X100 Launch and Availability

As of now, the complete specifications of the Vivo X100 smartphone are not available and there have been no official visual reveals. However, indications suggest that Vivo might release the handset by the end of this year.
