Design and Display
Vivo Y15C is built around a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. The phone has automatic brightness adjustment and Vivo’s Eye Protection Mode. The latter controls the screen’s blue light emission to protect the user’s eyes. Outside of it, it’s a standard screen without any high refresh rate.
The screen is enclosed inside a 3D-curved polycarbonate body that is available in Mystic Blue and Wave Green. Vivo Y15C measures 8.28mm in thickness and weighs around 179 grams.
Performance
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Helio P35 chipset. It’s an entry-level chipset with two clusters of Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.8GHz and 2.3GHz, respectively. It’s fairly old as well, having first announced back in 2018. Vivo has paired the chips with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Camera
At the back of the Vivo Y15C, you can find a rectangular camera bump housing a dual-camera setup along with the LED flash. Vivo has used a 13MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture for the primary camera. It is accompanied by a 2MP macro camera. The rear camera has multiple shooting options that include Time-Lapse, Pro Mode, and Panorama.
Thanks to the “Aura Light” feature, Vivo 15C’s screen lights up when taking selfies in the dark with the 8MP selfie camera. The phone even uses the camera for 2D face unlock.

Fueling the laptop is a 5,000mAh battery that accepts input of up to 10W. Sadly, the phone has a micro USB port for charging. Furthermore, it has a single speaker setup and boots on Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12.
