WhatsApp is working on animated emoji. WhatsApp is going to bring animated emoji feature in its upcoming beta desktop app.
In the GIF released by Wabeta Info, we can see the emoji animation. In the animated version, the emojis jump and rotate.
After adding an animated version of an emoji, even if you send a static emoji, the moving emoji itself will be shared. There is no information yet whether the animated version can be closed or not.
These emojis will also have a small file size. It is said that this will help to make the chat feature even more enjoyable.
