Windows 11 preview changes the refresh rate to save battery

Windows 11 preview changes the refresh rate to save battery. Refresh rate allows you to work on PC easily. But it also consumes a lot of battery.

That’s why Microsoft has introduced Dynamic Refresh Rate (DRR) to protect the battery and keep the refresh rate intact.

This feature is in Windows 11 Insider Preview. DRR raises the laptop refresh rate to 60 Hz when writing emails or documents and 120 Hz when surfing or scrolling. This support is currently only available for some Microsoft and Adobe apps.

Microsoft has said that this feature will be available for other apps after some time. To run this feature, your device must have a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
