Worldlink introduces 300Mbps Photon Series internet in Nepal

Worldlink, the leading ISP in Nepal, has now launched its Photon Series 300Mbps internet in Nepal. At present, it’s the highest bandwidth plan available for residential users, overtaking the likes of CG and Vianet. Let’s take a look at the features, pricing, and availability of the WorldLink Photon series internet plans.

Worldlink Photon Series Overview:

WorldLink is looking to create a major buzz in the country with the new 300Mbps internet plan. On top of high bandwidth, the company will also set up a new Mesh Wi-Fi network in your house/office, although it’s completely optional.

Mesh Wi-Fi

Mesh Wi-Fi network consists of the main router that connects directly to your modem and a series of nodes around your house for full Wi-Fi coverage.

The Mesh ensures seamless Wi-Fi coverage across all parts of your home. With this installed, you can now connect with a single SSID across all locations without compromising the speed of the internet. However, for setting up a Mesh network, you have to install a Beacon 1.1 router.

Mesh Wi-Fi is not a new technology, it’s the first time we have seen ISP promoting it in Nepal. While ISPs like CG Net, Subisu, Vianet, and others tout their speed, Worldlink’s efforts to maintain a steady internet connection are definitely noteworthy.

You may argue if Mesh networks are required in average Nepali households, places like Hotels and other big Business complexes can definitely benefit from them
