Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro Rumors

Launched back in 2021, Xiaomi Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro were the company’s first tablet launch in quite some time. And it looks like the company is finally ready to launch their successors. Popular tipster Digital Chat Station has recently revealed some of the specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro, so let’s have a look at all the rumors surrounding these devices.

Xiaomi Pad 6 and 6 Pro Rumors:

Both tablets are rumored to have 11-inch displays with a resolution of 2800 by 1880 pixels. And either a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate. Like their predecessors, Xiaomi will also be including Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support for a premium content consumption experience. But for now, it is unclear whether Xiaomi will upgrade to an AMOLED panel or follow up with the same LCD screen on the Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro.

More powerful chips

In terms of performance, the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC, which is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 860 found in the Xiaomi Pad 5. And since this chip has an integrated 5G modem as well, we hope Xiaomi will also be including cellular connectivity across all SKUs this time.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro might bring a flagship-level Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. That’s a massive upgrade over Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro’s Snapdragon 870. In terms of memory, these tablets will feature up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The tipsters also suggested that we may see 67W fast charging and a physical fingerprint reader on these tablets.

Xiaomi Pad 6 and 6 Pro Launch and Availability:

We expect the Xiaomi Pad 6 and 6 Pro to launch in the second quarter of 2023, which is sometime before June. At fairly aggressive prices as usual.
