Yatri Motorcycles, the official brain behind the operation, is setting up to demo the first Nepali-made electric motorcycle on April 23, 2021. The event will showcase the two Yatri products: Project Zero (P0) and Project One (P1).

Both are electric two-wheelers, aimed to offer the most bang for the buck! It is one of the most anticipated Nepali products in a long time.

With the demo day being just a few days away, we have gotten our hands on the detailed spec sheet.

However, pricing details are still closely guarded.

With that said, we have got more than enough information for a quick overview of Yatri’s highly ambitious product: Project Zero.

Performance

Yatri’s Project Zero promises never-before-heard performance for a bike of its kind.

P0 is powered by an electric powertrain with high performance at low operating costs. The electric motor will generate a max power of 64HP (48kW) and a max torque of 120Nm at the shaft (650Nm at wheel).

In real-world performance, the P0 will perform 0-60Kmph under 2.5 seconds.

It should be noted that the P0 claims 190Kg Kerbweight! Despite that enormous weight, P0 can claim some truly amazing powertrain figures!

Additionally, it packs in an 8.0 kWh battery with a 230Km range capacity. Moreover, the 3.3 kW onboard charger does a full charge in just 2 hours!

Compared to its initial reveal last year, the Yatri team has drastically improved its power output (initially promised 40HP power).

Nonetheless, it is still an impressive feat to pull off in a year!

Project Zero will be a premium offering at a premium price. As for the pricing, Project Zero (P0) price in Nepal will be announced soon enough.

Alongside the P0 pricing, Yatri Motorcycles will also reveal spec details of the recently teased Project One, which is an electric off-roader.

Talking about the availability, Project Zero will be available for bookings after April 23. Interested individuals will be able to place an order or make touch-less down-payment.

Official production roll-out begins May for both Project Zero and Project One.

It is even more impressive to realize both are Nepali products, designed and built right here in Nepal.
