I have just heard people saying Earthquake hitteds Kathmandu Valley on
today (April 12, 2012, Wednesday) and I have searched over the internet
but couldn’t found any information. Is it true that Earthqake was felt
in Nepal at the date: 11th of April? Living in Kathmandu I felt no any
shakings too. Is that my friends pranking over me? Information would be
updated if it’s true? You can visit this very same page later for more

  1. Nepal felt minor
    tremors off the
    massive earthquake
that struck under the sea off Indonesia’s northern Aceh province.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9 struck Aceh province triggering a tsunami warning
    across the Indian Ocean region.
    “Nepal, including
Kathmandu, felt the minor tremor of the earthquake in Indonesia,” Bharat Koirala, a seismologist at the National Seismology Center in Kathmandu confirmed.
Koirala added that the intensity of the tremor was little more in eastern Nepal.
Meanwhile, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reportedly said it
was not yet known whether a tsunami had
been generated, but said authorities should
    ‘take appropriate
    action’.
The above piece was taken from somewhere that proves Earthqake was felt in Nepal on Wednesday at April 11, 2012.
