International Women’s Day 2017 | From Nepalese Eye

Even in America, the women’s freedom movent was only started in 1969. Briton womens got voting rights from 1920 onwards only. It hasn’t been only few years that women’s in Arab got voting rights. But in Nepal, women’s are already in the governmental posts like President, Speakers and Supreme Judge.

Nepali religion itself has respected the women. From primitive times, the women’s name comes first then the males.  Taking about the real world example, we worship females in the form of Saraswati, Laxmi and Devi (Durga) for Education, Wealth, and Energy respectively.

The country has women friendly laws. In every sector from governmental and non-governmental, there is reservation system for females.

In Nepal, the first priority in everything is given to women. So it will be illegitimate of you speaking in the tongue of Western society saying both men and women are equal. Indeed, all genders are equal but it varies according to the society you live in.

You are above all things than men are. You are a Mother. Look back on own’s history. It tells that Men have been worshiping you from the primitive times.

Therefore, do not make yourself weak and shameful by following the Western cultures in the name of rights. Don’t be weak from your mind. Throw the flag of so-called rights and politics and be strong enough if necessary dare to put on Trishul and Chakra.

And, thanks for the special role you play in our lives in the form of Goddess, Mother, Wife, Sisters, Daughters, Friends and Teachers. Best wishes for all the global women on the International Women’s Day 2017.
