Google expands secure browsing service by bringing ‘enhanced safe browsing mode’ to Chrome

Google is going to further enhance the secure browsing service in Chrome. Google has named it ‘Enhanced Safe Browsing Mode’. When this mode is turned on, attempts to install extensions from sites other than trusted sites will pop up.

About 75% of extensions are no longer trusted in Chrome. To make extensions trusted, developers must follow the Chrome Web Store developer policies for a few months. Only then can they be trusted.

When downloading a file from Chrome, Chrome first analyzes whether the file is safe from Google Safe Browsing. If you are unsafe after scanning, notification will come. Google will initially offer these features in Chrome 91.
