International Virtual Trade Fair concludes

The 5th International Virtual Trade Fair organized by the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs of Nepal has concluded. The federation had organized this year’s fair with the slogan ‘Let’s cooperate, let’s be successful’.

The fair was held from September 3 to 4. The federation says that national and international women entrepreneurs will get ample opportunity to sell their products in this trade fair.

FNJ has been organizing such fairs for the last four years. Similarly, the fair will expand the network of women entrepreneurs, exchange skills and knowledge and increase productivity.

The fair was attended by women entrepreneurs from Kathmandu Valley and other districts. Participants in the fair have bought and sold goods through virtual means.

The products produced by the entrepreneurs at the fair were displayed on the online e-portal and sold from Winbiz’s website.

At the Virtual Trade Fair, 1,130 items produced by women entrepreneurs from 24 different districts representing seven provinces were divided into four different groups (handicrafts, agriculture and food, trade and services) and put on display.

A total of more than one lakh national and international spectators observed the virtual fair during the exhibition period.

Held for the first time in Nepal, this online virtual business fair has created an environment for women entrepreneurs to promote their products and build a network from business to business and from business to consumer.
