It’s almost eight months since Apple formally debuted the iPhone 12 series in Nepal. And now, Apple iPhone 12 and 12 mini have received a sweet price drop. This drop in price comes just before the implementation of MDMS in the country. Let’s take a quick look at the features and the new price of the Apple iPhone 12 and 12 mini in Nepal.

The iPhone 12 flaunts a 6.1-inch display while the mini variant settles for a 5.4-inch screen. The flat OLED panel expands from edge-to-edge and has corners that follow a curved design. Both panels, similarly, have a Super Retina XDR screen and are covered by a Ceramic Shield cover for durability.

Moreover, the devices are enclosed inside a metallic frame built from aerospace-grade aluminum while the back is made up of glass. Under the hood, both of these iPhones pack the latest A14 Bionic chipset. Storage-wise, you get to choose from 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB.

Likewise, on the rear, the two phones feature two 12MP lenses, among which one is primary and another is the ultra-wide lens. Over on the front, they have 12MP selfie camera which can record 4K video up to 60fps.

In terms of battery capacity, the mini variant is powered by a 2,227 mAh cell while the iPhone 12 has a larger 2,815mAh battery. Both of them support 20W fast charging, however, as you might have already known, you don’t get the charger brick inside the box.

iPhone 12 and 12 mini Price Drop in Nepal

The iPhone 12 and 12 mini price has now been slashed in Nepal. The base variant of the iPhone 12 is now available for NPR 128,900, down from NPR 133,900, while the price of the iPhone 12 mini (originally NPR 117,900)is now available for NPR 112,900, after the price drop.  down from NPR 117,900. You can purchase the devices from authorized retailers like Oliz Store and EvoStore.

According to unofficial sources, about 70% of iPhones in Nepal come through the grey market. However, iPhone brought via this route after Shrawan 1 will be blacklisted by NTA. Thus, to encourage users to buy iPhones from official stores, NexGen seems to have announced the price drop.
