Vivo Y53s launching soon with MediaTek Helio G80 chip and 64MP camera

Chinese manufacturer Vivo has announced the launch of a version with 4G connectivity of its Y53s smartphone with slightly different specifications from the version with 5G connectivity,which was released in June this year. One difference is the chip used: MediaTek Helio G80 in the 4G model and Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 in the 5G model.

The Vivo Y53s 4G smartphone features 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution (2408 x 1080) with 60Hz refresh rate instead of 90Hz as in the 5G model,comes equipped with the aforementioned MediaTek Helio G80 chip with eight cores, 8GB of RAM (+3GB of virtual memory), 128GB of storage capacity, microSD card slot with up to 1TB capacity and 5,000mAh battery with support for fast 33W charging with Super Speed Charge technology.

The Vivo Y53s 4G smartphone camera set includes a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and three rear cameras – the 64MP main with f/1.79 aperture and EIS stabilization, the 2MP macro with f/2.4 aperture and one more 2MP with f/2.4 aperture for depth detection. The device also has an LED flash.

In addition, the 5G model has only two rear cameras instead of three – the 64MP main and the 2MP macro.

The device’s connectivity options include support for 4G networks, two SIM cards, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone connector, and USB Type-C port.

Other features of this model include fingerprint sensor on the side, support for location services such as GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo, Multi-Turbo 5.0 to help allocate resources to improve gaming performance, and more.

The operating system is Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.

Vivo Y53s Price in Nepal : The Y53s 4G smartphone will be launching soon in Nepal with two color options – Fantastic Rainbow & Deep Sea Blue for around NRs 32,000.
