NASA’s Perseverance Rover succeeds in collecting the first specimen from Mars

NASA’s Perseverance Rover has collected the first samples from Mars. Initially, NASA’s Perseverance rover failed to collect samples from Mars.

The space agency has placed a rust-colored stone as wide as a pencil in a sample tube of a rover. After doing the same before, the tube was found empty after looking at it, but NASA has determined that this shift was successful.

Scientists considered the disappearance of the first specimen a mystery, but NASA said the stone was not in the tube because it was too powdery. A photo of the sample stone can be seen in the sun on Saturday. Now Perseverance will process and seal it.
