Realme C2 is the successor of the Realme C1 and is the least expensive offering from the company. It has a diamond pattern on the back, which looks quite amazing. The rear panel also houses a dual-camera setup at the back, which is found on most of the budget phones these days.

The performance is handled by Helio P22 chipset with either 2 or 3GB of RAM. As far as the storage is concerned, you get 16 or 32GB of onboard memory paired with a dedicated SD card slot. On the display front, Realme C2 boasts a 6.1-inch HD+ display capped with Gorilla Glass 3 as the protection. Recently, Realme has dropped its price in Nepal, and hence it is a good option under Rs. 15,000.

2. Realme C3

Realme C3 is the newest gaming-focused budget phone in Nepal. Featuring the MediaTek Helio G70 chipset, it’s an ideal smartphone for gaming enthusiasts. It features a tall 6.5-inch display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. However, the quality of the panel is strictly average.

The variant that’s launched in Nepal comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. You can expand the storage with a dedicated microSD card slot. This Realme C3 is a global variant and not the Indian variant. Hence, it has a triple camera at the back consisting of a 13MP primary, 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro lens. The front houses a 5MP selfie snapper.

Another USP of the Realme C3 is its big 5000mAh battery. However, it lacks USB Type C port and fast charging. The Realme C3 is available in Nepal at Rs. 16,990, which is little more than what the Indian variant costs.

3. Realme C11

Realme C11 is the latest smartphone under the company’s “C” series to have launched in Nepal. And like the C3, Realme C11 vouches for a promising gaming experience on a budget. It features MediaTek’s Helio G35 SoC and is also the first phone to come with this chipset. Here, it has an octa-core CPU with all eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.3GHz. On the graphics front is the IMG PowerVC GE8320.

All this has been complemented by 2GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. Yep, a single memory configuration. The phone runs on Realme’s own Realme UI 1.0 on top of Android 10. Realme C11’s design is something to ponder upon as well. The rear panel has this alluring textured finish with a vertical line running through the camera module.

Talking about the cameras, there are two at the back inside a squarish module alongside the LED flash. You get a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Coming to the front, Realme C11 has a 5MP selfie shooter residing inside the teardrop notch. The display is a big 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel which unfortunately only is of HD+ resolution. Finally, powering the device is a big 5,000mAh battery that charges via a micro USB cable.

4. Realme C12Realme C12 is the latest Realme device launched in Nepal in the company’s affordable C-series. This one is similar to the Realme C11. It sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution. And features a waterdrop notch to house a 5MP selfie camera. It has a triple camera setup on the back that has a 13MP primary lens.

Under the hood, the device packs in the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. It is not the most powerful of SoCs, however, for the price range it probably fits in. It is complemented by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

6. Realm 3

Realme 3 is another budget phone in Nepal priced between Realme’s Pro and C series. The phone packs a 6.22-inch HD+ display, which comes shielded with Gorilla Glass 3 on the top. The display on this device comes with a tiny notch on the top, which houses the front camera. And talking about the front camera, the selfie shooter here employs a 13MP sensor and an f/2.0 aperture. Even on the rear panel, there is another 13MP shooter, which, however, comes alongside a 2MP depth sensor.

Performance-wise, the device is capable of handling plenty of workloads. And the Helio P60 chipset makes sure of that. The performance is complemented by either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. When it comes to storage, the phone is available in 32GB and 64GB variants. And both of these variants come with a dedicated SD card slot, which lets the users expand the memory up to 256GB.

On to the software side, Realme has provided Android Pie out of the box with ColorOS 6 overlay on the top. But, you can update the phone to the latest Android 10 with Realme UI. 8. Realm 5

Realme 5 is a lower mid-range phone and the successor of the Realme 3. Yet it packs some of the best hardware on the inside. And like most of the Realme phones, it’s also primarily centred around the cameras. The phone has quad cameras on its back. And it’s one of the cheapest phones to have such features. With more cameras at the disposal, you have more options while capturing the images.

But that’s not all. The phone also houses a massive 5000mAh battery. Given its low-res 6.5-inch HD+ display, you can push the battery life for over two days on normal use. Similarly, there is a capable Snapdragon 665 chipset, which can handle some of the demanding games at decent frame rates.

Overall, the Realme 5 is a good alternative to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 8. However, the only disadvantage of Realme 5 is its exorbitant price in Nepal. And with the Redmi Note 8 being much cheaper, it is a better value for money smartphones right now.
