Samsung is preparing to launch a host of devices in the AIoT, smartphone, and tablet categories. According to reports, the upcoming Galaxy Tab A7 Lite’s support page has gone live on Samsung India’s website, implying that the device will be available in the market shortly. Aside from India, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite support page has also emerged in Africa and Romania.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Overview:

Only the Wi-Fi version (SM-T220) of the Tab A7 Lite is official on Samsung Africa’s website. Similarly, the tablet with model number SM-T225 and SM-T220 appears on Samsung India’s website; indicating that they are likely Wi-Fi-only and 4G LTE versions. Samsung’s website for markets such as Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Russia, and others also made a support page for the tablet official.

Rumored specifications

The tablet is approximately 212.5 x 124.7 x 8.7mm in size and weighs roughly 300 grams. It has an 8.4-inch IPS LCD panel. The tablet gets MediaTek’s Helio P22T chipset with 3GB of RAM. Moreover, it has a battery capacity of 5,100 mAh which supports 15W charging.

As expected, it will natively boot with Samsung’s One UI on top of Android 11. On to the cameras, Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has a 2MP sensor on the front while its rear setup should house an 8MP lens. The Tab A7 Lite will reportedly be available in two color configurations: black and silver.
