Thirty-seven US states have filed no-confidence lawsuits against Google Play Store

Thirty-seven US states have filed no-confidence lawsuits against Google Play Store. These states have accused Google of violating US no-confidence laws. This is the fourth no-confidence motion against Google since 2020.

The news came after Google announced on Wednesday that it would reduce Playstore’s commission by 15 percent. Google has stated in a blog post that this issue is wrong and inappropriate. Recently, Android apps that steal Facebook’s password were found in the Play Store on Google.

Meanwhile, nine apps were found to have Trojans and those apps were stealing Facebook login details. Google plans to introduce a PlayStoring billing system later this year. The decision was opposed by apps such as Netflix and Spotify.
