Everest Region Experiences Visitors Increased by 33%

top-of-the-everestThe number of Toursist visiting the Everest region is increaseing day by day. Everest region has experienced the rise of international visiotrs by 33 percentage.

Even in the year 2015, during the Earthquake 36,694 tourist were recored visiting the Everest region.  “27,465 tourist came to visit Everest region in 2015 and in 2016, it was recorded more than 36,694”, says Saryug Mahato, the sentinel assistant inspector of Tourist Police Office at Lukla.

Since everything is back to normal, there is a rise in no of international visitors to Nepal. In 2015, the number had declined due to the effect of Gorkha Earthquake. “Now the increasing ratio of tourist is being normal,” says  Lama Kaji Sherpa who operates Tourism business in Namche Bazaar.

With the rise of local and international visitors, the Tourism business person of Everest region seems to be very excited. Everest region is famous for the Everest itself and the Everest Base Camp (EBC), Namche Bazaar and for the people who can’t climb or see the view from Everest, they enjoy seeing the mountain’s peak feel like being on the top of Everest. The Everest view just in front of the eyes from the highest hotel is also a lifetime experience for most of the people.
