Upaya City Cargo has started cargo transportation service in Kathmandu

Digital cargo service provider ‘Upaya City Cargo’ has started cargo transportation service through bike (two wheeler) in Kathmandu Valley in partnership with UKAID’s Skills for Employment Program-Skill.

With the goal of becoming the backbone of Digital Nepal’s transportation service, Citigargo has started the service with two-wheeled vehicles and now it will be easier not only for heavy goods but also for small goods and parcel delivery.

Speaking on the occasion, Suman Rayamajhi, Chairman, Upaya City Cargo, said that they will focus on inclusion, gender equality and environmental awareness in their work.

According to Baljit Vohra, project head of SIPA, the employment created by the measures by making good use of the technology platform did not exist until a few months ago and now with the technology platform, there is a great potential for new job creation in Nepal.

“The solution is an interesting and scalable company,” said Vidyavaridhi Sigdel, managing director of Dolma Impact Fund, an investment partner of the solution.

Skills and Measures CityCargo’s partnership targets migrant workers, women and other socially and economically disadvantaged groups.

Exploring the use of electric vehicles and sustainable cooling, Rayamajhi says he appears as an environmentally friendly company. Aishwarya Rai, founder of the Curvy Quinn Collection, explains the role of measures to move forward and become independent in solving the challenges of women entrepreneurs.

Measures Citicargo offers a large network of driver / two-wheeler rider-partners as well as convenient mobile tracking and tax invoices for low-cost and fast shipping services at current market rates.

Those who want to carry heavy goods and parcel cargo can book the required four or two wheelers through the mobile app or official website (citycargo.upaya.com.np). Vehicles can be booked immediately or by setting a schedule.
