Which iPhones run Telecom’s VoLTE service?

Nepal Telecom had launched Voice over LTE (VoLTE) service for the first time in Nepal on the occasion of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day.

To use VoLTE service based on Forge technology, your mobile will need to support VoLTE service. This service can then be used by activating VoLTE on both prepaid and postpaid seams.

Telecom’s VoLTE service has started running on phones from iPhone 6 to above. Earlier, Telecom had written an email to Apple’s CEO after VoLTE Secha did not work on iPhone. Apple then sent an expert team to solve the problem.

The VoLTE service will provide high definition voice to Forge mobile, easy access to the network with dialing and more quality in the service.

Telecom subscribers will be able to activate VoLTE on the SIM by dialing * 444 # from their mobile that supports VoLTE.

To activate this service on the mobile, you have to enable the VoLTE call for NTC SIM in the settings of the mobile and immediately the VoLTE signal appears on the top wave of the mobile set.

When the VoLTE signal appears, dial * 111 #. Nepal Telecom will provide 100 minutes of VoLTE voice facility to the users of this service on Nepal Telecom’s network for 28 days free of cost.

Nepal Telecom’s VoLTE service runs on iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone X, iPhone XR.

Similarly, Nepal Telecom’s VoLTE will also run on iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The company has also requested to make sure that the latest iOS update has come to the iPhone. Nepal Telecom has been working with other mobile suppliers to bring VoLTE support in mobiles.
