According to Dilli Adhikari, managing director of Nepal Telecom, data consumption has increased by 30 percent since the second wave of corona infection. The government had issued injunctions in various districts of the country since April 30.

As data consumption increases, the telco is also increasing the bandwidth it needs. According to officials, they are working to increase the capacity of the case server by managing local and international bandwidth.

He said that there is no problem in data management as there is a balance between supply and demand of bandwidth. The official said that some international bandwidth has been added as data consumption is increasing.
Nepal Telecom has provided various offers and packages for the convenience of the consumers along with the second wave of corona infection.
