Xiaomi’s Mi 11 lineup already includes a bunch of exemplary phones including the Mi 11 Ultra. And now, Xiaomi India has confirmed that it will add a couple of “new” devices to this series. The upcoming Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro will actually be a rebrand of the existing Redmi K40 and K40 Pro+. So, let us discuss all the rumors surrounding Mi 11X in detail.

Xiaomi has already announced the launch date of the Mi 11 Ultra in India, and the company will the Mi 11X alongside as well. From the looks of it, the phone will be exclusive to India. Although the company hasn’t provided any concrete information about the device, it is thought to be a rebranded Redmi K40.

Redmi K40 Design, Display

Xiaomi India is teasing the phone with all efforts to create a good buzz. A tweet from the company’s Twitter handle provides additional information about the device. They are teasing the ‘X’ flagship as being Xtreme in every way a user might want. Furthermore, they have expressly mentioned that it is Xclusive and customized for India. It creates a stronger perception of the device to be a rebrand of the Redmi K40 series.

As of now, we can expect the Mi 11X to have a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display; with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone is likely to debut with a triple rear camera configuration consisting of a 48MP primary, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP macro lens. The unit will pack a 4,520mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Apparently, the Mi 11X Pro could be launched on the same day as a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Pro+. Xiaomi India mentions the launch of an “X series”; so we expect the launch of more than one phone under the ‘X’ umbrella.
