Dilliram Sharma, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, has been promoted to Secretary. A cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar on Thursday decided to promote Sharma to the post of secretary.

A meeting chaired by Public Service Commission Chairman Madhav Prasad Regmi had recommended the names of three persons including Sharma for promotion to the post of secretary. The cabinet meeting has decided to promote Sharma to the post of secretary.

Along with Sharma, the names of Joint Secretary of the Election Commission Raj Kumar Shrestha and Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of Lumbini State Rabilal Pantha were recommended.
