Twitter is testing a feature to notify users if an account is suspended or locked. This feature will also notify you if the account is placed in read-only mode without following any policy.
Notifications feature a banner at the top of the feed indicating that the account is not fully active. Twitter is testing this feature on a very small percentage of iOS, Android and web users. Twitter has started testing this feature after many users complained that their account was suspended, locked or in read-only mode.
Notices also guide users if your account is suspended or locked. Locked accounts regain full access within a week.
