All the post offices in the country are now in electronic system

The government is going to connect all the customs offices in the country to the electronic system. All the land revenue offices will be connected through the land revenue information system implemented in the land revenue office and the service users will be able to get the service easily and the record system will be organized.

Dr. Damodar Regmi, Secretary of the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, informed that the offices that are not connected to the electronic system have been instructed to complete this work in two phases by May 2nd and the end of next June.

Director General of Land Management Department, Padmanidhi Soti, said that all offices are using electronic information system to make service delivery agile and ethical.

Rajkumar Maharjan, director of information technology of the department, assured that the technical problems arising in the use of information technology will be addressed by the department immediately in the program conducted through the virtual system with the participation of officials including the secretary of the ministry.

Lately, the Ministry has been conducting regular contact with the staff of the Malpot and Napi office to make the coordination mechanism effective to make the work more efficient.

The system of retaining land in the bank is also going to be online now. It has been informed that since the department has previously entered into such an agreement with Mega Bank, Prime Bank, Employees’ Provident Fund, National Commercial Bank and other banks are also joining it.
