An integrated information system will be developed to bring all the details of the project together

The government is going to develop an integrated information system to make the construction business efficient, transparent and orderly.

Finance Minister Dr. Prakasharan Mahat announced the budget for the financial year 2080-81 and said that an information system will be developed so that the details of the contract agreements taken by the construction businessmen across the country and the periodical details of the work progress will be received in an integrated manner.

Based on this system, the Public Procurement Monitoring Office will monitor the progress of the contract agreement.

He said that if negligence of a serious nature is found through the monitoring, legal arrangements will be made so that action can be taken up to the cancellation of the license of the construction business based on the report submitted by the related project.
