Two new SKUs of Asus VivoBook Flip 14 are now available in Nepal. The two models are powered by Intel and AMD processors respectively. Let’s take a look at the specs, features, price, and availability of the new Asus VivoBook Flip 14 laptops in Nepal.

Asus VivoBook Flip 14 Overview:

Design and Display

The Asus VivoBook Flip 14 comes with a metal chassis. Its Intel variant is thinner (18.2mm > 17.6mm) but weighs the same as the AMD variant (1.5kg). As the name suggests, the laptop comes with a 360˚ hinge. It features a 14.0-inch FHD IPS display with stylus support. It’s a glossy panel that covers 45% of the NTSC color gamut and boasts a brightness of up to 250 nits.

The Intel variant is available in two colors but the AMD config is only available in the Bespoke Black version. The latter has a diamond-cut logo and a color-blocked Enter key.

Performance and Memory

Here, the Intel version of VivoBook Flip 14 that’s available in Nepal is powered by the 10th gen Intel Core i3-10110U CPU. It’s a dual-core processor with a clock frequency of up to 4.1GHz. On the other hand, the AMD variant is powered by a hexa-core Ryzen 5 5500U CPU with a clock frequency of up to 4.0GHz.

Similarly, they come with 4GB and 8GB of RAM respectively. Thankfully, you can upgrade it to up to 16GB on both configurations. Coming to the storage, you get 256GB and 512GB of NVME PCIe 3.0 SSD on the Intel and AMD variant, respectively.

Rest of the specs

Fueling these 2-in-1 laptops is a 3-celled 42Wh Li-ion battery. There is a 45W AC adapter included in the box. For audio output, you get a built-in speaker in both but the one in the AMD variant is tuned by Harman/Kardon.

Its backlit chiclet keyboard has a key travel distance of 1.5mm. The AMD variant comes with NumberPad 2.0 which lets users use the touchpad as a LED-illuminated numeric pad.

Getting to ports, the VivoBook Flip 14 comes with two/three Type-A, one Type-C, one HDMI, one audio combo jack, one DC-in, and a MicroSD card reader. The actual data transfer speed may differ between the two models.
