Best mobile phones under NPR 10000 in Nepal:

6. Itel A49

Itel A49 – Green

Kicking off our list is the Itel A49. For a budget phone in 2023, it looks pretty stylish. This 4G-ready phone is available in green, black, and purple colorways, all with a shimmery finish for a modern look. The phone gets its juice from a modest 4000mAh battery that fuels up via a micro USB port.

It is powered by a Unisoc SC9832E processor that has a quad-core CPU. This is complemented by 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Thankfully, Itel ships this phone with the Go edition of Android 11 (instead of the regular Android 11 that’s more resource-hungry). Itel A49 carries a 6.6″ IPS display up front and a 5MP selfie camera inside the teardrop notch. At the back, you get a single 5MP camera and also s fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

5. Benco V70

Benco V70 – Black best phones under 10000 in nepal

Next up on our list of best phones under NPR 10000 in Nepal is the Benco V70. And this one is largely similar to the Itel A49 above. It is also available in a couple of attractive color options that you might like. But as expected from a budget phone, this one has an all-plastic build material too despite its fairly premium looks. And although might look like the Benco V70 has triple cameras at the back, it actually only has a single 8MP sensor there.

Benco has used the same 8MP sensor for the front camera as well. It has a standard 6.5″ HD display, while the company has used the same Unisoc SC9832E chip here. Memory options for the Benco V70 include 2GB RAM and up to 64GB internal storage. And it runs on the Android 11 Go edition as well. Thanks to its massive 5000mAh battery, this phone should easily last you a couple of days under normal usage.

4. Nokia C20

Nokia C20 – Sand best phones under 10000 in nepal

At the number four spot on our list of best phones under NPR 10000 in Nepal is the Nokia C20. And believe it or not, performance is one of the biggest strengths of this phone. You see, while both the Itel A49 and Benco V70 are powered by a quad-core CPU, its Unisoc SC9863A chip brings an octa-core CPU. And Nokia has also gone with Android 11 Go Edition to ensure reliable performance for everyday usage.

The company has also committed to 2 years of security updates for the C20. But seeing how this phone launched in April 2021 and we’re already in April 2023 now, don’t expect any more software updates for this guy. Nokia C20 has a pretty unique circular camera ring at the back which holds a 5MP camera. Unfortunately, you don’t get a physical fingerprint sensor here. And it also has a pretty small 3000mAh battery.

  • Nokia C20 Specifications: Display:
  • 6.52-inches IPS LCD screen, HD+, 60Hz refresh rate Chipset:

3. Infinix Smart 6 HD

Infinix Smart 6 HD – Blue best phones under 10000 in nepal Okay, taking the bronze medal on our list of best phones under NPR 10000 in Nepal is the Infinix Smart 6 HD. In case you didn’t know, Infinix is a subsidiary ofTranssion Holdings

whose other smartphone brands include Tecno and Itel. Anyway, this is the cheapest entry in Infinix’s “Smart 6″ series. Like the Nokia C20, it is also powered by Unisoc’s SC9863A chip with an octa-core CPU.

This has been complemented with Android 11 Go edition software as well, so Infinix Smart 6 HD’s performance is pretty sweet for a budget phone. Besides, it brings an 8MP back and a 5MP selfie camera. Other specs of this phone are pretty standard stuff, including a 5000mAh battery, a 6.6” HD display, expandable storage, and more. But this one also misses out on a physical fingerprint sensor.

  • Infinix Smart 6 HD Specifications: Display:
  • 6.6-inches IPS LCD screen, HD+, 60Hz refresh rate Chipset:
  • Unisoc SC9863A 4G (28nm mobile platform) Memory:

2. Honor X5

Honor X5 – Sunrise Orange

Finally some fresh launches! The new Honor X5 finds itself with the silver medal on our list of best phones under NPR 10000 in Nepal. Honor is known for its attractive smartphone designs and that can be seen on the X5 as well. It has a leather-like texture at the back and is available in a couple of fun color options including orange, blue, and black. As for the display, the Honor X5 has a 6.5″ TFT LCD screen with an HD resolution.

The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G25 chip, along with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable). More importantly, Honor X5 runs on the newer Android 12 Go Edition unlike other entries on our list so far that boot on the older version. As for the cameras, it has a single 8MP sensor at the back and a 5MP selfie shooter. Honor has also crammed in a big 5000mAh battery here which should last a couple of days on a full charge. Sadly, Honor has skipped on a fingerprint sensor here.

  • Honor X5 Specifications: Display:
  • 6.5-inches TFT LCD screen, HD+, 60Hz refresh rate Chipset:
  • MediaTek Helio G25 4G (12nm mobile platform) Memory:

1. Redmi A1

Redmi A1 – Light Green Okay, the number one spot on our list of best phones under NPR 10000 in Nepal goes to Xiaomi’s Redmi A1. Like the Honor X5 above, this one also comes with a leather-texture design at the back that keeps fingerprint smudges at bay. Pair that with a distinct flat frame design language, then the Redmi A1 definitely comes off as a head-turner in the budget phone category. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22

chip (12nm). But although it has a quad-core CPU (instead of octa-core), the phone’s performance is plenty reliable.

Redmi A1 boots on Android 12 Go Edition with some light MIUI 12 customizations on top. Plus, Xiaomi has also promised 2 years of security updates for this phone. So we still have one and a half years of updates to look forward to here, since this phone launched in September 2022. Other than this, Redmi A1 has a 6.52″ HD display, dual rear cameras, and a 5000mAh battery—but no fingerprint reader.
