Communication and Information Processing Conference held at Kathmandu University


The Communication and Information Processing Nepal (CIP-N) conference organized at Kathmandu University Dhulikhel has been completed on Friday.


The conference was organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering under School of Engineering, Kathmandu University, CV Raman Auditorium.

A day before the conference, experts presented papers on various topics. For technical preparation, webinars and conferences were organized with the theme of innovation and partnership.

Dr. In the conference started under the chairmanship of Ramkaji Budhathoki, information and communication technology experts, students and stakeholders were present.

Prof. Dean of the School of Engineering of the University gave a welcome speech in the opening session of the program. Dr. Manish Pokharel said that there is a need for innovation in the country.

Speaking at the event, Kathmandu University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Bhola Thapa emphasized that there should be such programs in the future to take the students beyond the curriculum and connect stakeholders on a single platform.

Similarly, Dr. Ramkaji Budhathoki informed that the program was organized with the aim of bringing researchers, organizations, individuals and stakeholders in the field of communication and information processing together.

Similarly, while speaking at the event, Rajesh Joshi, Director of Training Center of Nepal Telecom, said that they are providing necessary training, workshop and discussion platform for the employees.

Various issues of communication and information technology were discussed in the conference. In the discussion, experts in the related field gave their opinion.

The program has the support and cooperation of Nepal Telecom, Huawei, Connect IPS, ICT News, Nepal Research and Education Network, KU Electrical and Electronics Alumni and Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
