Corruption case against Paudel, executive director of Surakshan Printing Center with a claim of 69 crores

The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a corruption case against Vikal Paudel, executive director of Suraksha Printing Center.

Aktiar has filed a corruption case against Paudel in the special court for causing a loss of 69.8 million rupees to the state fund.

A case has also been filed against Aktiyar Paudel and 9 other people on the charge of corruption in the purchase of electronic infrastructure required for security printing.

The Authority has alleged that during the purchase of security printing press, Surakshan Printing Center prepared and approved abnormal costs, accepted low-quality electric transformers contrary to the purchase agreement, and accepted and paid for generators manufactured in countries other than those mentioned in the agreement.

Similarly, it is said that the property of the government has been illegally embezzled by paying more in advance for the operation of the structure and for the service after the supply without doing the work according to the purchase agreement, and by purchasing the bulk fuel tank system that is not needed and cannot be justified.

Against him for the offense under Clause (a), (b), (e) and (f) of Section 8 (1) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059, imprisonment as per Sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the same Act and fined as per the provisions of the Act The demand has been taken.
