Currently, 15,000 national identity cards are being printed daily: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Pradand’ has said that currently 15,000 national identity cards are being printed daily.

Responding to the questions raised by the members of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, the Prime Minister informed that the number of identity cards that were printed in the number of 7,000 per day until December 11 is now being printed in the number of 15,000 in two shifts.

According to him, the campaign has been conducted at 554 local levels in 53 districts and the details of about 13 million citizens have been collected.

The Prime Minister informed that the time card and token system has been implemented in the district administration office which is more crowded.
