Damak municipality is going to be made a start-up and technology friendly city. The digital literacy program for digital jobs jointly organized by Sriyog.com and Damak Municipality on June 1 is said.

On June 1, a literacy program was organized in the auditorium of Damak municipality. More than 100 people participated in this event, which was held under the chief hospitality of Damak Municipality Information Technology Chief Samip Chudal.

Shriyog.com, which is operated with the aim of creating employment opportunities using digital technology, and in collaboration with the municipality, a one-day digital job digital literacy program was conducted in the first phase in line with the objective of making Damak Municipality a start-up and technology-friendly city by digitally profiling the unemployed youth with skills in the city area. Prakash Upreti said.

Navin Bhattarai, business consultant of Shriyog.com who conducted the class ‘Digital Literacy for Technology Friendly Employment and Entrepreneurship’ gave brief information about various processes for employment, self-employment or becoming an entrepreneur using technology.

He says that many practical things can be taught in such a one-week program. The event was facilitated by SN Mehta and Isha Sunam, Project Managers of ShreeYog.com, and local information technology professionals Shovit Man Shrestha and Shailesh Dahal were also present.
