It is mentioned that an integrated smart refreshment and transfer center with electric charging station will be constructed and brought into operation in a suitable place of Kathmandu Mugling and Bharatpur Hetauda section in collaboration with the private sector. In addition, a policy has been taken to encourage the private sector to operate large public electric vehicles.

It is mentioned that digitization and archiving of old records related to vehicles and driver’s licenses will be taken forward for safe management.

It is also mentioned that the vehicle registration, renewal and revenue payment from the transport management office will be operated through online system. It is mentioned in the policy and program that the online or ePayment system of public transport will be implemented from the next fiscal year.
