Dedicated Internet of Worldlink now at Moolpani and Kirtipur cricket ground

Worldlink Communications Limited, the country’s largest internet service provider company, is going to provide all the internet related infrastructure required for cricket in Nepal.


A memorandum of understanding was signed between Worldlink and Cricket Association Nepal on Tuesday 5th Baisakh regarding providing all necessary infrastructure related to connectivity to upgrade the level of cricket in the country.

The MoU was signed at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, by Keshav Nepal, the Chief Executive Officer of the company on behalf of Worldlink, and Durga Raj Pathak, the Executive Secretary on behalf of CAN.

It is said that the period of this agreement for three years can be extended for more time by mutual agreement between both parties.

In the event organized for the signing of the agreement, the CEO of the company, Nepal, said that as Worldlink is the largest internet service provider in the country, it is their responsibility to expand and promote the game in the country.

“We are also providing services in remote areas of the country. Recently, Nepal is making progress in the game as well. It is our responsibility to deliver it to every corner of the country. Keeping this in mind, we have helped in promoting the game,” he said.

According to the agreement, Worldlink will provide 40 Mbps dedicated internet facility with alternative optical fiber only at Moolpani and Kirtipur cricket grounds.

Along with this, the company said that 100 Mbps dedicated internet has been connected at both locations for the duration of the ongoing ACC Cricket Cup.
