Digital Farpaschim Samvad in association with PhonePe completed

Digital Dialogue 4.0 has been organized in Dhangadhi of Sudurpaschim Province. Digital Sudurpaschim Samvad in Association with PhonePe was completed in Dhangadhi on Monday under the auspices of ICT Foundation Nepal.

The chief guest of Sudurpaschim Province, Devraj Joshi, was present at the event held on Monday.

In a similar program, Vice President of Policy and Planning Commission of Far West Province Mohan Dev Bista and member Prof. Dr. Jagat Bahadur Singh Rawal, Acting Secretary of Ministry of Social Development Ganesh Bahadur Singh, Ghodaghodi Municipality Mayor Khadak Bahadur Rawat, Kailari Rural Municipality Chairman Raj Samaj Chaudhary, CAN Federation Vice President Harak Sethi were present.

Similarly, DSP Bharat Chaudhary of Sudurpaschim Province Police Office, Dhan Bahadur Bogti, President of CAN Federation of Sudurpaschim Province and Secretary Naresh Dhami, Yoga Raj Upadhyay, Head of Spa Academy, Balaram Joshi, State Head of Nepal Telecom and others were also present.

In the digital dialogue, there was a wide discussion about the digital situation of the state between the state government, people’s representatives, stakeholders and representatives of government and non-government agencies. 2 worksheets were presented in the discussion.

Vibhushan Bishta, CEO of Yong Innovation, who was also the keynote speaker at the event, presented a working paper on the digital capability scenario of the Sudurpaschim Province.

Similarly, Hariram Rimal from ICT Foundation Nepal presented a working paper on the digital capability of Far Western Province.

A panel session was also held on the topic of digital capacity of Far West Province. As a speaker in the session, the Mayor of Ghodaghodi Municipality, Khadak Bahadur Rawat, member of Policy and Planning Commission of Sudurpaschim Province, Prof. Dr. Jagat Bahadur Singh Rawal, CEO of Young Innovation Vibhushan Bisht, Principal of Nast College Dhangadhi Prof.Dr. Prem Bahadur Chand and Harak Sethi, vice president of the CAN Federation, participated. The panel was facilitated by Rajan Lamsal, President of ICT Foundation Nepal.

Earlier, digital dialogue has been organized in Koshi, Madhes and Bagmati provinces. After Sudurpaschim Province, Digital Dialogue is being organized in Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki Provinces.

After the digital dialogue is held in all seven provinces, a research-based book ‘Digital Province Scenario 2’ will be published, which covers the digital situation of the entire province.

After that, ‘Digital Nepal Conclave 2023’ will be held in Kathmandu on June 8 and 9 as a grand program. The conclave program started last year with digital dialogue.
