Diners Club card now on Himalayan Bank’s card network
An agreement has been reached between Himalayan Bank Limited and Diners Club International, a sister company of Discover Financial Services.
An agreement has been signed by Himalayan Bank to issue and accept Diners Club card and accept Diners Club International card in Nepal.
After signing the agreement, the bank will soon accept Diners Club card in its card network.
The bank initially said it would accept the card at its 146 ATMs and more than 5,000 POS terminals.
From this, the cards issued by Diners Club International, Discover and its alliance networks of India, South Korea, Brazil and Turkey will be able to be used in Himalayan Bank’s ATM and POS terminal network while visiting Nepal. In the second phase, the bank will issue the cards to locals in Nepal.
