Elon Musk Finds Twitter’s New CEO, Lynda Yaccarino to Take Over

Elon Musk said Thursday that he has found a new CEO for Twitter, or “X Corp.” The CEO of Twitter is now known as X Corp.

He did not name the new CEO, but said she is a woman and will take over as chief executive officer in about six weeks. The Wall Street Journal reported in its report that Elon Musk has spoken to Linda Yaccarino, head of advertising at Comcast NBC Universal, to take over as CEO of Twitter, but Musk has not disclosed this.

Musk has been holding the position of CEO of the company since he bought Twitter and has been emphasizing that he is not the permanent CEO of the company.

The billionaire businessman and Tesla chief said in a tweet that he will continue in his role as Twitter’s executive chairman and chief technology officer.

Excited to announce that I’ve hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. She will be starting in ~6 weeks!

My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software & sysops.
