Embossed number plates will now be kept in Nepali, the fee will also be reduced


Now the embossed number will be kept in Nepali language. On Monday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Narayan Kazi Shrestha informed that the work has been progressed to keep the embossed number plates in Nepali.

Shrestha said that since the Prime Minister has shown special interest in having embossed number plates in Nepali, he is in the process of discussion with the relevant agency.

He also said that the fee charged for embossed number plates is going to be reduced. According to Shrestha, the fee cannot be reduced from the contract with the contractor, but the government will bear the cost of the embossed number plate.
