Feasibility study of digital currency will be done, now from loan application to approval online
Nepal Rastra Bank is going to study the feasibility of digital currency. Announcing the monetary policy for the fiscal year 2078/79 on Friday, the NRB said that the central bank will study the feasibility of electronic currency.
The policy states, “In the context of the use and feasibility study of e-currency in the world, the feasibility study of e-currency will be carried out by the Central Bank in Nepal as well.”
Similarly, NRB has said that digital loan guidelines will be formulated and implemented in banks and financial institutions to facilitate the process from loan application to approval.
