Gandaki province did not give 100 crores to the innovation center

The founder of the center, Mahavir Pun, has said that the 100 million grant that the Gandaki province will give to the National Innovation Center has not yet been given.

Gandaki province had said that in the budget of the financial year 2079/80, it would give a grant of 10 million rupees to the National Innovation Center for research and innovation.

But even with a few months left to the end of the financial year, the innovation center has not been able to get the grant.

Mahavir Pun, the founder of National Innovation Center, said that the 100 million rupees was not received due to the laziness of the ministry’s staff and political changes.

Despite not receiving the subsidy provided by the Gandaki province, the innovation center has started working from the month of January at its own expense.

On the other hand, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Social Development and Health of Gandaki Province Toy Nath Lamsal will complete this process soon.

‘The minister’s time is not suitable. “We will have a meeting and finalize it after the time,” he said.
