Google unveils the first foldable phone


Google has officially unveiled its first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold. Google has not yet revealed the specifications and pricing of the new Pixel Fold.

Google posted a video teaser on Twitter with the phrase ‘May the fold be with you’. Along with this, Google has also said that this device will be launched on May 10 at the Google I/O event. A new video reveals that the Google Pixel Fold will come with a triple camera setup.

The third lens on it is the periscope lens, which is also found on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. A CNBC report claims that the price of this phone will be similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 4. It can be expected that this Google phone will be launched at INR 1.55 lakh.

The video shows a tablet-like display on Google’s first foldable smartphone. Users get an external touchscreen for use when the phone is off. According to reports, the Google Pixel Fold will feature a 5.8-inch display, which when unfolded looks like a 7.6-inch tablet.
