Infinix 260W Fast Charging Tech

Fast-charging tech is making a buzz in the tech world these days. Realme recently unveiled GT 3 (GT Neo 5 in China) with 240W charging while Redmi entered the fray with a 300W solution. And now, Infinix is the latest brand to jump on the bandwagon, with its upcoming 260W fast-charging technology. More about Infinix’s 260W fast charging is in this article.

Infinix’s 260W Charging:

Popular tech blogging site, GSMArena first shared the news about Infinix’s new charging tech. They received an image of the 260W fast charger which is placed next to a phone identical to Infinix Zero Ultra, as per the site.

To recall, the Infinix Zero Ultra already supports 180W fast charging. So it should be easier to make changes to make it capable of holding 260W power.

Reports are suggesting that the solution will have a four-way 100W charge pump as well as an AHB (Advanced High-Performance Bus) circuit design with safe charging control.

Moving on, the charging brick has also “Thunder Charging” branding below the 260W print. So, it is likely that the new tech will have the moniker of Thunder Charging.

On the other hand, the Chinese company is reportedly working on a 100W wireless charging solution as well. It will bring a custom-coil design and improved charging efficiency, along with reduced internal resistance and increased peak power charging time.

Infinix’s 260W Charging: Availability

According to GSMArena, Infinix’s 260W charging is expected to be announced on March 9, 2023. It remains to be seen whether Infinix will announce a phone alongside it.
