The Office of the Auditor General has said that the services provided by the office should be based on the information technology system which will put more pressure on the service recipients.

The annual report of the Auditor General, which was made public on Friday, states that the services provided by the high-pressure office should be based on the information technology system.

The report said, “The service delivery process should be simplified and made based on the information technology system in the services provided by the offices such as Land Revenue, Survey, Foreign Employment, Transportation Management, Passport, Immigration, etc.

Similarly, in order to make the service flow quality and effective in places where there is no access to information technology and presence of more service recipients, it is said that appropriate service flow method including cycle time system, token system, layout management, grievance redressal system and help desk system should be implemented.
